Welcome to DoctBank.
DoctBank is an online healthcare appointment and diagnostic service-booking platform. We help patients find and book appointments with doctors, hospitals, pathology laboratories, radiology centres, and other healthcare service providers.
As DoctBank does not generally ship physical products, this Service Delivery Policy explains how our appointment and healthcare booking services are delivered.
1. Doctor Appointment Booking
After successfully completing an appointment booking, the patient will receive booking confirmation through the contact information provided during the booking process.
The confirmation may include:
Patient name
Doctor/healthcare provider name
Clinic or hospital name
Appointment date
Appointment time
Booking/reference number
Applicable booking amount
Other relevant appointment information
Patients should keep their booking confirmation for future reference.
2. ₹9 Booking
For eligible appointments, patients may reserve an appointment by paying the applicable ₹9 booking amount online.
The ₹9 payment confirms the booking only after the payment has been successfully processed and the appointment has been confirmed.
Where applicable, the remaining consultation fee is payable directly to the doctor or healthcare provider at the clinic.
3. Appointment Availability
Appointment availability is determined by the respective doctor, clinic, hospital, or healthcare provider.
DoctBank displays available appointment slots based on information provided by healthcare providers.
Availability may change due to:
Doctor schedule changes
Clinic closures
Emergencies
Holidays
Technical issues
Other circumstances beyond DoctBank's control
4. Patient Visit
Patients should arrive at the selected clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility at or before the scheduled appointment time.
Patients may be required to provide:
Booking confirmation
Mobile number
Identification documents, where required
Previous medical records, where appropriate
The healthcare provider may have its own registration or waiting procedures.
5. Diagnostic Services
DoctBank may facilitate bookings for:
Pathology tests
Blood tests
Radiology services
X-rays
Ultrasound
CT scans
MRI
Other diagnostic services
The actual diagnostic service is provided by the respective laboratory, hospital, or diagnostic centre.
Patients should follow the preparation and appointment instructions provided by the relevant healthcare provider.
6. No Physical Product Delivery
DoctBank generally does not deliver physical products through the appointment-booking service.
Therefore, shipping charges, courier delivery, and physical product delivery timelines do not normally apply to DoctBank bookings.
7. Appointment Cancellation or Rescheduling
Patients may request cancellation or rescheduling according to the applicable cancellation policy and the availability of the healthcare provider.
The applicable refund, cancellation, or rescheduling conditions will be communicated during the booking process or through the relevant DoctBank policy.
8. Provider Cancellation
If a doctor, clinic, hospital, laboratory, or diagnostic centre cancels or changes an appointment, DoctBank may notify the patient and, where applicable, assist with rescheduling or refund processing.
9. Technical or Communication Issues
DoctBank is not responsible for delays caused by:
Incorrect contact information provided by the user
Mobile network problems
Internet connectivity problems
SMS or email delivery failures
Third-party service failures
Payment gateway problems
Circumstances beyond DoctBank's reasonable control
Users should contact DoctBank support if they do not receive their booking confirmation after completing a successful payment.
