Payment Policy

Payment Policy

Last Updated: 25 August 2026

This Payment Policy explains how payments are made through DoctBank for doctor appointments, diagnostic services, pathology tests, radiology services, and other healthcare-related bookings available on the platform.

By making a payment through DoctBank, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

1. Payments on DoctBank

DoctBank may allow users to make online payments for:

Doctor appointment bookings

Appointment reservation fees

Pathology test bookings

Radiology and diagnostic test bookings

Other healthcare services made available through the platform

The applicable amount will be displayed to the user before the payment is completed.

2. ₹9 Appointment Booking

For eligible doctor appointments, DoctBank may allow patients to reserve an appointment by paying ₹9 online.

The ₹9 amount is a booking/reservation amount and is not necessarily the complete consultation fee.

Where applicable, the remaining consultation fee is payable directly to the doctor, clinic, hospital, or healthcare provider at the time of the visit.

The applicable consultation fee should be displayed to the patient before completing the booking whenever such information is available.

3. Payment Confirmation

An appointment or service booking is considered confirmed only after:

The required payment has been successfully processed; and

DoctBank or the relevant healthcare provider confirms the booking.

After a successful booking, the patient may receive a confirmation through SMS, email, WhatsApp, website notification, or other available communication channels.

Patients should retain their booking/reference number.

4. Payment Methods

DoctBank may provide one or more online payment methods, including:

UPI

Debit cards

Credit cards

Net banking

Digital wallets

Other payment methods supported by the payment gateway

Available payment methods may change from time to time.

5. Payment Gateway

Online payments may be processed through third-party payment gateway providers.

DoctBank may not directly process or store complete card, banking, or other sensitive payment credentials.

Users should review the applicable payment gateway's terms and security information when making a payment.

6. Failed or Unsuccessful Payments

If money has been deducted from the user's bank account or payment method but the booking is not confirmed, the user should contact DoctBank support with:

Registered mobile number

Transaction/reference ID

Date and time of payment

Amount paid

Booking details, if available

DoctBank will investigate the transaction and, where applicable, coordinate with the payment gateway or relevant service provider.

7. Duplicate Payments

If a user believes that the same booking has been charged more than once, the user should contact DoctBank as soon as possible.

DoctBank may verify the transaction records before processing any eligible refund.

8. Consultation Fees

Doctors and healthcare providers may independently determine their consultation or service fees.

DoctBank does not necessarily determine the consultation fee charged by an independent healthcare provider.

Any additional amount payable at the clinic, hospital, laboratory, or diagnostic centre should be paid directly to the respective provider where applicable.

9. Diagnostic Test Payments

For pathology, radiology, imaging, and other diagnostic services, the amount payable through DoctBank will be displayed before the user completes the booking.

Additional services, procedures, or charges requested by the healthcare provider may be subject to separate charges.

Users should confirm the applicable charges with the diagnostic centre when necessary.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

Refunds, where applicable, will be handled according to DoctBank's Refund & Cancellation Policy and the terms applicable to the particular service.

Refund eligibility may depend on:

Time of cancellation

Type of booking

Healthcare provider's cancellation rules

Whether the service has already been provided

Payment gateway conditions

Other applicable terms

Users should review the applicable cancellation and refund conditions before making a payment.

11. Provider Cancellation

If a doctor, hospital, clinic, pathology laboratory, or diagnostic centre cancels a confirmed booking, DoctBank may assist the patient with rescheduling or refund processing where applicable.

The outcome may depend on the specific service and applicable refund policy.

12. Pricing Errors

DoctBank makes reasonable efforts to display accurate prices.

However, if an obvious pricing or technical error occurs, DoctBank reserves the right to correct the error and, where appropriate, cancel the affected booking and process an eligible refund.

13. Taxes and Additional Charges

Where applicable, taxes, service charges, convenience fees, gateway charges, or other applicable charges will be displayed to the user before payment.

The final amount payable should be reviewed before confirming the transaction.

14. Payment Security

DoctBank takes reasonable measures to protect payment-related information.

Users should:

Never share OTPs with anyone

Never share UPI PINs

Never share card PINs

Never share banking passwords

Verify that they are making payments through the official DoctBank website or authorized payment interface

DoctBank will not normally ask users to disclose their banking password, UPI PIN, or card PIN.

15. Fraudulent Transactions

DoctBank reserves the right to investigate suspicious, fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive transactions.

Accounts or bookings associated with suspected fraudulent activity may be suspended or cancelled, subject to applicable law.

16. Third-Party Payment Services

Payment transactions may depend on third-party payment gateways, banks, card networks, UPI providers, or other financial service providers.

DoctBank is not responsible for delays or failures caused solely by such third-party services, although we may assist users in resolving transaction-related issues where reasonably possible.

17. Changes to Payment Policy

DoctBank may update this Payment Policy from time to time.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
